Six Story Hotel Proposed in Anaheim Resort

Applicant, NARA Investments, LLC, proposes to construct a six story hotel in Anaheim Resort. The proposed building will be branded as a Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites would include 223 hotel rooms.


According to the environmental document, the project site is located at 1441 South Manchester Avenue and the 2.5 acre site is currently built with a Quality Inn & Suites that has 108 rooms. As part of the proposed project, the existing building is to be demolished in order to construct the new 84 feet tall building.

The project proposes constructing two underground levels of parking with a total of 200 vehicle parking spaces along with 27 vehicle surface parking spaces.

The report states, "Ground Floor, the ground floor would include the hotel entrance and lobby area, Hilton Garden Inn breakfast room, lounge, restrooms, retail space, meeting room, and hotel administrative areas. The second floor...consists of the fitness room Home2Suites breakfast room, guest laundry, and guest rooms." (p 3-1).

The project architect is BRR Architecture.

The developer anticipates to begin demolition work in September 2018 and complete the project in March 2020.
